Six-bay 2.5" hot-swap enclosure

The LORDWORLD MB326SP-1B fits six 2.5-inch SATA or SAS drives into a single 5.25-inch bay. It serves system builders and IT teams who need dense, removable storage without sacrificing a full drive cage. Individual trays slide in and out while the system runs.

Upgrade from fixed single-drive mounts

Replaces static 2.5-inch brackets or single-slot caddies that require a shutdown for every swap. The jump makes sense when uptime matters and drive counts grow beyond one or two bays. Hot-swap trays and tool-less insertion cut maintenance time to seconds.

Six drives with 12 Gbps SAS headroom

Each bay accepts 5 mm, 7 mm or 9.5 mm drives and runs at SATA 6 Gbps or SAS 3.0 12 Gbps. Dual 40 mm fans with three-speed control cool the array, while Active Power Technology spins up only populated slots. Two 15-pin SATA power connectors feed all six bays.

Questions about this item

Does this mobile rack fit a standard 5.25-inch front bay in my chassis?

Yes, the unit is designed to mount in a single 5.25-inch bay and holds up to six 2.5-inch SATA or SAS drives.

How do I install a drive into the ExpressTray system, and what step is often missed?

Slide the drive into the tool-less tray until it clicks onto the SATA connector, then insert the tray into the bay until it locks; the step often missed is fully seating the tray so the hot-swap latch engages.

When will the dual 40mm fans need replacement, and can I change them myself?

The fans are user-upgradeable; replace them when bearing noise increases or airflow drops, typically after several years of continuous operation.
