PCIe Slot Drive Tray for ToughArmor MB840M2P-B

The LORDWORLD MB840TP-B Drive Bay Adapter fits inside a standard PCIe expansion slot. It provides an internal mounting point for a single M.2 solid-state drive. The adapter is designed specifically for use with the ToughArmor MB840M2P-B mobile rack system. Builders adding high-speed storage to a workstation or server chassis will find it a direct mechanical fit.

Single M.2 Drive Capacity and Mechanical Limits

The tray accommodates exactly one M.2 solid-state drive and does not support additional devices. Storage headroom ends at that single drive; there is no provision for a second module or for larger form factors. The adapter relies entirely on the host mobile rack for power, cooling and electrical connection, so it cannot operate as a standalone device.

Questions about this item

Will the MB840TP-B fit in the same PCIe expansion slot I currently use for another add-in card?

The MB840TP-B occupies a single PCIe expansion slot, so it will use the same type of slot as other internal add-in cards you may already have installed.

How can I verify the MB840TP-B is working after I install an M.2 drive in it?

After installation, the M.2 drive should appear in your system BIOS and operating system disk management, confirming the adapter and drive are detected correctly.
