19-Inch Rack Shelf for Tower Units

This 1U cantilever tray mounts in standard 19-inch racks and supports tower units, monitors and similar equipment. The 200 mm depth provides a stable platform for devices that do not have rack ears. Cold-rolled steel construction with a powder-coated finish resists rust and corrosion in cabinet environments.

Vented Design for Airflow

Perforated surfaces allow air to pass through the shelf, helping installed equipment stay cool without adding active cooling. The open construction avoids trapping heat around tower units or monitors. No fans or power connections are required, so the shelf adds no noise or power draw to the rack.

Questions about this item

How is the 19 inch shelf mounted and what step do people often miss?

Align the four cage-nut holes on each flange with the rack rails, insert cage nuts first, then bolt the shelf through the front and rear holes; skipping the rear bolts leaves the cantilever unsupported.

What maintenance will the powder-coated steel shelf need over time?

Wipe dust from the vent slots quarterly; if the coating is scratched, touch up with enamel paint to stop rust on the cold-rolled steel underneath.
