Locking 3.5mm TRS to Sony Multi-Port Cable

This 30 cm cable connects a locking 3.5 mm TRS output from a timecode generator or slate to the Sony Multi-Port input on compatible cameras. It is built for production crews who need reliable timecode metadata on Sony FX3, FX30, a7S III and a1 bodies. The locking connector prevents accidental disconnection during handheld or gimbal work.

Behaviour under sustained production use

High-quality connectors and rugged cabling maintain a stable signal throughout long shooting days without signal drop-out. The fully extended length of 11.81 inches keeps the cable taut between the generator and the camera port, reducing strain on both sockets during continuous recording sessions.

Compatibility check before ordering

Verify that your camera provides a Sony Multi-Port input and that your timecode source outputs a standard 3.5 mm TRS signal. This cable does not serve devices that require a 2.5 mm connector or a different proprietary timecode port.

Questions about this item

Does the 30cm cable generate any heat or electrical noise during continuous timecode sync?

No, the passive 30cm cable carries only timecode signal and draws no power, so it produces no heat or audible noise during all-day use.

Which camera port must my body already have for this SR-TRS-C10 to connect?

Your Sony camera needs a Sony Multi-Port input; the cable plugs into that port on FX3, FX30, a7S III, a1 and other compatible models.

Will the locking 3.5mm TRS plug stay secure on my older TC-NEO generator during a shoot?

Yes, the locking 3.5mm TRS connector mates firmly with the TC-NEO and similar generators, preventing accidental disconnects while you move.
