Slim ODD Bay Adapter

The LORDWORLD ToughArmor MB411SPO-B installs a single 2.5 SATA or SAS drive into a 12.7mm slim optical drive bay. It accepts drives from 5mm to 9.5mm in height. The adapter targets builders who need fast local storage in compact workstations or servers without 3.5in bays.

Full Metal Build with Rated Connector

Heavy-duty metal construction shields the drive and resists vibration in enterprise chassis. The SATA interface connector is rated for 10000 insertion cycles, reducing wear during frequent drive swaps. Active Power Technology lights the LED only when a drive is seated, giving instant visual status at the bay.

Replaces Fixed Optical Drives

This adapter upgrades a legacy slim DVD or floppy slot to 6Gbps SATA 3.0 or 12Gbps SAS 3.0 single-channel performance. The jump is worth it when boot or scratch capacity matters more than disc media. Builders who need multiple drives per bay or tool-less trays should look elsewhere.
