Two-computer USB sharing hub

This USB 3.0 switch lets two computers share four peripherals such as keyboards, mice, printers and cameras. It provides three USB-A ports and one USB-C port for mixed device connectivity. The unit operates with Windows, macOS and Linux without additional drivers.

Bundled cables and desktop controller

Two USB 3.0 cables are included for immediate connection to both computers. A separate desktop controller button allows the main switch box to be tucked away, keeping the workspace tidy while retaining one-touch switching.

Driver-free installation and common issues

Plug the cables into each computer, attach peripherals, and the hub is ready to use. Switching is done via the box button or the desktop controller. Some high-power devices may need their own power adapter, which is not supplied.

Questions about this item

Will the desktop controller or front-panel button wear out from daily switching?

Both the desktop controller and the front-panel button are solid-state switches with no moving contacts, so they do not require replacement under normal use.

What is the maximum sustained data rate before the USB 3.0 link becomes the bottleneck?

Each of the four ports is limited to the USB 3.0 specification of 5 Gbps, so sustained transfers above that rate will be constrained by the interface.

Does the switch draw noticeable power or generate heat when left running all day with four devices attached?

The unit is bus-powered and consumes only the small amount needed for the switching logic, producing negligible heat during continuous operation.
