Network Speed and Use

This Cat 6 cable supports data rates up to 10 Gbps with a bandwidth of 550 MHz. It is built for gamers, streamers and anyone who needs a fast, stable wired link between routers, consoles, PCs or CCTV gear.

Shielding and Durability

The 100% bare copper conductors reduce signal interference while gold-plated RJ45 contacts resist corrosion. A UV-resistant PVC jacket protects the cable during outdoor or direct burial installation.

Installation Flexibility

Snagless boots guard the connector clips during repeated plugging and unplugging. The 25 FT length reaches across rooms or to outdoor equipment without excess slack, and the round profile routes cleanly through conduit or along baseboards.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Lumenzi EC-6-25-GRY-1 cable for direct burial without damaging the PVC jacket?

Lay the cable in a trench at a depth that meets local code, avoiding sharp rocks; the UV-resistant PVC jacket handles soil contact, but do not pull tighter than the minimum bend radius or the jacket may kink.

What maintenance or replacement will the gold-plated RJ45 connectors need over time?

The gold plating resists corrosion; inspect the snagless boots periodically and replace the cable if the clip tabs break or the jacket shows cracking from long-term UV exposure.

At what point does the 550 MHz bandwidth limit appear during sustained 10 Gbps transfers?

The 550 MHz rating supports the full 10 Gbps Cat 6 spec up to the 25 FT length; sustained throughput is limited by the Cat 6 standard itself, not by this cable's materials.
