DisplayPort 2.1 cable carries 80 Gbps for 16K 60 Hz, 8K 120 Hz, 4K 240 Hz and 2K 360 Hz gaming
Cable Length 3.3 Feet
This 3.3 ft DisplayPort 2.1 cable connects a GPU to a monitor with male-to-male terminals. It is VESA certified and built with a triple-shielded design using 28AWG OFC solid copper conductors. The aluminium shell aids heat dissipation and the connectors are rated for a 15,000-plus bend lifespan. It suits gamers and creators who need a certified link for ultra-high-resolution panels.
The cable supports up to 80 Gbps bandwidth and carries DSC 1.2a compression. It delivers 16K at 60 Hz, 8K at 120 Hz, 4K at 240 Hz, 165 Hz and 144 Hz, and 2K at 360 Hz. Dynamic HDR 4:4:4, HDR10, HDCP 2.2 and stereoscopic 3D are supported. It cannot drive displays that require bandwidth beyond 80 Gbps or refresh rates higher than those listed for each resolution tier.
The cable works with AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-Sync variable refresh rate technologies. It also supports VRR and ALLM features to reduce input latency and eliminate screen tearing during gameplay. MST multi-stream transport is available for multi-monitor setups. It adds no benefit for monitors that lack adaptive-sync support or for legacy ports limited to DisplayPort 1.4 bandwidth.
