Ultra-Slim Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard

The LUOM keyboard is a 78-key wireless input device that pairs with tablets, phones and laptops over Bluetooth 3.0. It measures 285 by 120 by 6 mm and weighs 282 g, making it thin enough to slip into a bag. Thirteen dedicated hot keys give quick access to volume, media playback and screen brightness on iPad models.

Suits Travel Light Typists

Writers who want a compact QWERTY layout for on-the-go work will appreciate the 10 metre operating range and the 30-day continuous battery rating. Users who need a numeric keypad, mechanical switches, backlighting or a rechargeable battery should look elsewhere, as this model omits those features.

Simple Pair And Type

Insert two AAA batteries, switch the unit on and select it in the host device’s Bluetooth menu; no driver installation is required. The only common stumbling point is forgetting that batteries are not supplied in the box, so keep spares handy for the first use.

Questions about this item

What does the keyboard need to power the 78 keys and 13 hotkeys?

It runs on two AAA batteries, which are not included in the box.

Will the 13 iPad hotkeys work if I pair the keyboard with a Windows laptop over Bluetooth 3.0?

The hotkeys are customised for iPad functions such as volume and brightness; they may not perform the same actions on Windows.

How can I confirm the Bluetooth 3.0 link is active at the full 10 m range?

Pair the keyboard, then walk up to 10 m away; if characters still appear on screen without lag, the connection is working as intended.
