A 6.6 ft DisplayPort 1.4 cable carries 32.4 Gbps for 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz or 2K at 240 Hz with HDR and DSC 1.2
Cable Length 6.6 Feet
The LUOM DP28 is a male-to-male DisplayPort 1.4 link rated for 32.4 Gbps HBR3 bandwidth. It connects a graphics card or laptop to a monitor, projector or TV over 6.6 ft. The grey nylon-braided jacket covers 28 AWG tinned-copper conductors. It is built for gamers and creators who need certified 8K 60 Hz or high-refresh 4K and 2K output.
The cable carries 8K at 60 Hz, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz, 2K at 240 Hz and 1080p at 240 Hz with 10-bit HDR colour. DSC 1.2 compression and FEC forward error correction keep the signal clean at the top rates. HDCP 2.2 and 1.4 are supported for protected content. It runs out of headroom beyond the listed refresh-rate ceiling, so 8K above 60 Hz or 4K above 144 Hz will not work.
It replaces any older DisplayPort 1.2 or 1.3 cable that limits you to 4K 60 Hz or lower refresh at 2K. The jump is worth it when your GPU — such as an RTX 3070, 3080, 3090 or Radeon RX 6800, 6900 — and monitor both support DisplayPort 1.4 and you want 4K high-refresh or 8K 60 Hz. It is not for buyers who need longer runs than 6.6 ft or who require USB-C or HDMI connectors.

Other versions of this model
Yes, it is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.3, 1.2 and 1.1, so the DP28 will link your RTX 3080 to a DisplayPort 1.2 display at the monitor's maximum supported resolution and refresh rate.
Open your GPU control panel or monitor OSD and check that the active signal shows 4K at 144 Hz with HDR enabled; the cable supports DSC 1.2 and HBR3 for visually lossless 10-bit colour at that rate.
The package supplies the 6.6 ft DisplayPort 1.4 male-to-male cable only; no HDMI, DVI or USB-C adapters are included, so buy those separately if your devices need them.
