Cable purpose and audience

This LUOM Essager CGI27W cable connects a USB-C power source to Apple devices with a Lightning port. It supports up to 27W power delivery and 3A current for compatible iPhones including the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The 6.6ft length suits desktop, bedside or in-car use. It is not for buyers who need USB-C to USB-C connectivity or faster data rates than 480Mbps.

Thermals noise and power draw

The cable delivers up to 27W with a 3A maximum current while a five-strand thickened core and flame-retardant jacket reduce heat during charging. An aluminium alloy housing helps dissipate warmth at the connectors. No active cooling or fan is present, so operation is silent. It is not for users who require power delivery above 27W.

Bundled extras and software impact

The braided fishing-net exterior and reinforced, lengthened strain reliefs resist repeated bending and tugging. MFi certification ensures reliable handshake with Apple hardware for both charging and 480Mbps data sync. No software, adapters or additional accessories are included. It is not for buyers who expect a wall charger, cable ties or a carry pouch in the package.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the USB-C end to a PD 27W charger so the iPhone 14 Pro Max reaches 50% in 30 minutes?

Plug the Type-C connector into a charger rated 27W or higher that supports PD 25W/20W backwards compatibility; the cable then delivers up to 27W to the Lightning port.

When should I replace the cable if the braided jacket or aluminium housing shows wear?

Replace it if the braided fishing-net sheath frays, the aluminium alloy housing cracks, or the reinforced strain-relief ends no longer keep the connectors aligned after repeated bending.

What sustained throughput limit appears first during large file transfers?

The 480 Mbps USB 2.0 data rate caps transfer speed long before the 3 A current limit becomes a factor.
