Cable purpose and audience

This LUOM Essager CGI27W cable connects a USB-C power source to Apple devices with a Lightning port. It delivers up to 27W fast charging for compatible iPhone models including the iPhone 14, 13, 12, 11, Pro, Max, Mini, XR, XS, 8 and SE series. MFi certification ensures safe charging without pop-up warnings. The 6.6ft blue nylon-braided length suits desk, bedside or travel use.

Compatibility checks before ordering

Verify that your charger or power bank has a USB-C output port and supports Power Delivery at 27W or higher to reach the maximum 3A current. Confirm the device you want to charge uses a Lightning connector rather than USB-C. The cable transmits data at 480Mbps, so ensure your host computer or laptop has a USB-C port for syncing. No driver installation is required.

Thermals noise and power draw

The built-in smart chip manages power delivery up to 27W and 3A while keeping the cable cool during normal charging sessions. With no moving parts the cable operates silently. In typical use charging an iPhone 14 Pro Max from a PD27W charger reaches 50% in about 29 minutes. Power draw scales with the connected charger and device requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the 6.6ft cable come with a power adapter or do I need to buy a PD 27W charger separately?

The box contains only the USB-C to Lightning cable; a PD 27W or higher power adapter must be purchased separately to reach the 27W rate.

Should I choose this 27W 3A cable or a lower-rated version for an iPhone 14 Pro Max?

For the iPhone 14 Pro Max the 27W 3A cable is the right choice — it supports the phone's maximum fast-charge speed when paired with a PD 27W or higher charger.

What does the 27W headline figure mean in daily use with my laptop and iPhone?

With a PD 27W charger the cable can charge an iPhone 14 Pro Max to 50% in 29 minutes and moves data at 480Mbps between laptop and phone.
