8K HDMI 2.1 Bidirectional Switch Splitter

The LUOM F0301 is a compact HDMI 2.1 bidirectional switch and splitter. It handles one input with two outputs or two inputs with one output at up to 8K 60 Hz and 4K 120 Hz. No external power supply is required and a button toggles the active path.

Who this suits and who it does not

Ideal for users who alternate between two source devices on one display or switch one source between two displays manually. Not for setups needing simultaneous dual-monitor output, automatic switching, HDR pass-through at 4K 120 Hz with certain GPUs, or longer cables than the 5-inch lead.

The spec that decides fit

Maximum supported resolution is 4096 x 2160 at 48 Gbps bandwidth. If your display and source require higher bandwidth or simultaneous dual-output operation, this unit will not meet the requirement.

Questions about this item

Does the LUOM F0301 need an external power adapter or can it run from the HDMI ports alone?

The unit draws power from the HDMI connection and includes a USB A to Micro B cable for supplemental power if a source cannot supply enough current. No separate wall adapter is required.

How do I toggle between the two HDMI inputs or the two outputs on the F0301?

Press the Select button on the switch; the blue indicator LED shows which port is active. In splitter mode only one output is live at a time, so each press swaps the display.

Will the HDMI cables need to be replaced to keep 8K 60 Hz or 4K 120 Hz performance over time?

Use certified Ultra High Speed HDMI cables rated for 48 Gbps. If a cable degrades or is swapped for a lower-spec lead, the maximum 4096 x 2160 resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate may not be maintained.
