1×4 HDMI splitter for 4K@30Hz

The LUOM OZF4C duplicates a single HDMI source across four displays, transmitting video and audio simultaneously. It supports a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and is backward compatible with 1080p at 60 Hz, 720p at 60 Hz and 480p at 60 Hz. The unit requires the included 5 V/1 A power adapter for operation.

HDMI 1.4 limits at 30 Hz

This splitter uses the HDMI 1.4 interface, so 4K output is capped at 30 Hz and HDCP 2.2 is not supported. Protected 4K content that requires HDCP 2.2 will not pass through. Deep colour at 8, 10 or 12 bit is supported, along with audio formats such as DTS-HD, Dolby TrueHD, DTS, Dolby Digital and DSD.

Check your source and displays

Verify that your source device can output 4K at 30 Hz over HDMI 1.4 and that all four target displays accept the same mirrored resolution. The splitter only mirrors content; it cannot extend a desktop across screens. Ensure the power adapter is connected before use.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 1×4 model or a smaller splitter for my setup?

The LUOM OZF4C is a 1×4 splitter that duplicates one HDMI source to four displays simultaneously; choose it when you need four mirrored outputs rather than fewer.

What does the 4K@30Hz rating actually deliver when I connect a console or media player?

The splitter passes 3840×2160 at 30 Hz and is backward compatible with 1080p at 60 Hz, 720p at 60 Hz and 480p at 60 Hz, so 4K content plays at 30 frames per second while lower resolutions run at 60 Hz.

How does the HDMI 1.4 interface limit what I can do with HDCP and higher refresh rates?

The HDMI 1.4 connection supports HDCP 1.4b and 1.4 but not HDCP 2.2, and it caps 4K signals at 30 Hz, preventing 4K at 60 Hz or protected 4K streams that require HDCP 2.2.
