One-to-two HDMI splitter with audio extraction

The LUOM OZF6A takes a single HDMI source and mirrors it to two displays while simultaneously pulling the audio stream out to three analogue or digital outputs. It handles 4K at 60 Hz with 18 Gbps bandwidth and supports HDR10, HDCP 2.2 and deep colour up to 36 bit. The box includes the splitter, a USB power adapter and a user manual.

18 Gbps bandwidth and HDMI 2.0b compliance

This spec decides whether the unit will pass 4K 60 Hz RGB 4:4:4 without compression or colour sub-sampling. It also carries Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and LPCM 7.1 through the HDMI paths while the extractor feeds SPDIF, coaxial and 3.5 mm jacks. Three audio-mode buttons select TV, 2.0 CH or 5.1 CH output.

Powered splitter for dual-display mirroring

The device needs the supplied USB power adapter to drive both HDMI outputs and the audio extraction circuitry over cable runs up to 8 metres at 4K or 15 metres at 1080p. It does not switch sources — only duplicates — so the source and both sinks must share a single resolution and refresh rate. No HDMI cables are included.

Questions about this item

Will the 4K60 signal stay intact when the splitter sends it to two displays?

The splitter duplicates one HDMI source to two HDMI outputs at up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with 18 Gbps bandwidth, so both screens receive the same 4K60 image.

Which HDMI version and HDCP level does the box support, and what does that limit?

It supports HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2, allowing 4K60 HDR10 and 1080p120, but it cannot pass Dolby Digital Plus audio.

How much space does the unit need on a shelf or behind a TV?

The enclosure measures 5.59 x 3.15 x 1.26 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces, so it fits easily behind most displays or in a small cabinet.
