3×3 HDMI video wall controller

The LUOM OZJP2 splits a single HDMI or DVI source across nine HDMI outputs to drive a 3×3 array of displays. It accepts 4K at 30 Hz or 1080p at 60 Hz and outputs 1080p at 60 Hz to each screen. Installers and digital-signage operators can build large tiled canvases without a media player per display. No driver installation is required.

Build integration and cabling

One HDMI input and nine HDMI outputs connect directly to the source and the displays. The unit includes an optical S/PDIF port for 5.1-channel audio because audio does not pass to the display outputs. A 12 V DC adapter powers the controller, and built-in vents with a fan keep temperatures stable. RS-232, IR remote and front-panel buttons provide control options for rack or wall mounting.

Upgrade path and limitations

The controller replaces a matrix switcher when the goal is fixed tiling rather than arbitrary routing. It supports thirteen preset layouts from 1×1 up to 4×2 and adds 180° image rotation for portrait screens. Buyers who need higher output resolutions, HDMI 2.0 bandwidth, or per-display audio will need a different processor.
