3×3 video-wall controller for digital signage

The LUOM OZJP2 splits a single HDMI or DVI source across nine HDMI displays to build a 3×3 video wall. It accepts 4K input at 30 Hz or 1080p at up to 60 Hz and outputs each segment at 1080p. Thirteen display modes cover layouts from 1×1 up to 4×2 and 3×3. RS232, IR remote and front-panel buttons provide control options for installers and operators.

Replaces standalone splitters and matrix switchers

A single unit handles both signal distribution and layout processing that would otherwise require multiple daisy-chained splitters or a larger matrix. The jump is worth it when a project needs bezel-managed splicing, 180° rotation or edge masking across nine screens without adding external processors. Buyers who need more than nine outputs or 4K60 output resolution cannot be served by this controller.

Plug-and-play installation with RS232 integration

Connect the source, link nine displays via HDMI, attach the 12 V DC adapter and select a mode from the front panel or remote. Optical SPDIF extracts 5.1-channel audio for external sound systems. Common issues include EDID mismatches when mixing display models and HDCP 1.4 handshake failures with newer 4K sources; both usually resolve by power-cycling the controller and displays together.

Questions about this item

What depth clearance does the 5.91 x 2.36 x 0.79-inch controller need on a shelf or rack?

The unit is 5.91 inches deep, 2.36 inches wide and 0.79 inches high; allow a few extra centimetres at the rear for the nine HDMI cables, the optical SPDIF lead and the 12 V DC power jack.

Which step do installers most often skip when wiring the nine HDMI outputs to the displays?

After connecting the single HDMI or DVI source and the nine HDMI cables, the output resolution must be set to 1920 x 1080p at 60 Hz and the desired splicing mode (for example 3x3 or 2x4) selected via the front panel, IR remote or RS232 before the displays will show a stable image.

What ongoing maintenance does the fanless, porous-chassis controller require?

No internal filters or moving parts exist; simply vacuum the ventilation pores every few months to prevent dust build-up, and replace the remote-control battery (not supplied) when the IR range drops.
