LUOM PQ004 Thunderbolt 4 USB4 cable

The LUOM PQ004 is a USB C to USB C cable built to the USB4 Gen 3x2 standard. It delivers up to 40 Gbps bandwidth and supports 240 W power delivery, making it suitable for professionals who connect high-resolution displays, external GPUs or fast storage to Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 ports.

Sustained load behaviour

The cable maintains 40 Gbps throughput for large transfers such as 14 hours of HD video or 25,000 photos in a minute, provided the host port also runs at Gen 3 speeds. It handles 240 W (48 V / 5 A) charging continuously when paired with a compatible PD 3.1 charger, and drives a single 8K@60 Hz or dual 4K@60 Hz display without bandwidth throttling.

Upgrade context

This cable replaces older USB C cables limited to 20 Gbps or lower power profiles. The jump is worth it when you need full 40 Gbps bandwidth for eGPU or dual 4K workflows, or when your charger and device support 240 W PD 3.1 fast charging. It does not suit buyers who only need basic 5 Gbps data sync or low-wattage phone charging.
