Converts analog RCA composite signals to 1080p 60Hz HDMI output for modern displays
This LUOM adapter converts analogue RCA composite video and stereo audio into a digital HDMI signal. It is aimed at owners of older consoles such as PS2, PS3, Xbox, N64, Wii, VHS, VCR or DVD players who want to connect them to a modern TV or monitor with HDMI input. The unit supports PAL, NTSC3.58, NTSC4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N source formats.
No driver installation is required; simply connect the yellow, white and red RCA plugs to the source device and the HDMI output to the display. The included USB power cable must be hooked up to a 5 V power source during use, otherwise the converter will not operate. A common issue is forgetting this power connection, which results in no picture or unstable output.
Verify that your source device provides composite video output via the standard three RCA connectors. Confirm that the target display has an available HDMI input capable of accepting 720p or 1080p at 60 Hz. Ensure a USB port or 5 V USB power adapter is reachable from the converter's position to supply the required power.
