Share Audio with Two Headsets

This LUOM SONGFUL M2 splitter converts one 3.5mm stereo jack into two 3.5mm female ports so two listeners can hear the same source. The 5-inch cable suits phones, tablets, laptops and MP3 players that have a standard auxiliary socket. A slim metal housing lets the plug seat fully without removing a device case.

CTIA Wiring Limits Compatibility

The adapter follows the CTIA pinout used by many smartphones and tablets, so headsets with inline microphones work correctly. Devices that use the older OMTP layout or proprietary headset interfaces will not pass microphone signals through this splitter. It is a passive Y-cable and cannot amplify or process audio.

One Male Plug Feeds Two Female Sockets

The single 3.5mm male input splits directly into two 3.5mm female outputs with gold-plated terminals and bare copper conductors. No power supply, driver or configuration is required. Buyers who need independent volume controls, microphone mixing or more than two outputs should choose a different solution.

Questions about this item

Which 3.5mm splitter should I pick from the two-pack?

Both cables in the pack are identical — each has one 3.5mm male plug and two 3.5mm female sockets, so you can use either one for the same job.

What does the 3.5mm CTIA wiring mean when I plug headphones in?

The splitter follows the CTIA standard, so the four-pole male plug carries stereo audio plus microphone and splits it to two three-pole female sockets for headphones or headsets.

What does the 3.5mm interface limit in practice?

The 3.5mm connection is analogue stereo only; it cannot carry digital audio, surround formats or power for active noise-cancelling headphones.
