Extends a DisplayPort 1.4 link 6.6 ft with triple-shielded solid-copper conductors, supporting 8K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz over 32.4 Gbit/s HBR3 bandwidth
Cable Length 6.6 Feet
This 6.6 ft male-to-female cable extends an existing DisplayPort link between a graphics card or laptop and a monitor. It carries DisplayPort 1.4 signals at full HBR3 bandwidth so the original resolution and refresh rate remain unchanged. Gamers and professionals who need extra reach without signal loss are the intended users. It is not for buyers who need a native male-to-male cable or a different connector type.
The cable supports HBR3 bandwidth of 32.4 Gbit/s and is rated for 8K at 60 Hz, 5K at 60 Hz, 4K at 144 Hz and 2K at 240 Hz. DSC 1.2 compression and FEC forward error correction maintain integrity at these data rates. HDCP 2.2 and HDR pass through without degradation. Multi-stream transport allows daisy-chained monitors within the same bandwidth envelope. It is not for setups that exceed 32.4 Gbit/s or require uncompressed 8K above 60 Hz.
Verify that both source and display have full-size DisplayPort 1.4 ports; the cable will not fit Mini DisplayPort or HDMI sockets. Ensure the combined length of your current cable plus this 6.6 ft extender stays within the reliable range for HBR3 signalling. Confirm your GPU and monitor firmware support the target resolution and refresh rate you plan to use. It is not for systems limited to DisplayPort 1.1 or earlier without checking backwards-compatibility behaviour.

Other versions of this model
This model is offered in a 6.6 ft length. It adds reach to an existing DisplayPort cable without changing the supported resolutions or refresh rates.
The cable carries up to 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz when both source and display support DisplayPort 1.4 and DSC compression. Lower resolutions such as 4K@144Hz or 2K@240Hz also run at their full rates.
The HBR3-rated link provides 32.4 Gbit/s bandwidth. That ceiling caps the maximum resolution and refresh rate combinations listed, and requires DSC for 8K@60Hz or 4K@144Hz.
