This USB-C adapter connects two HDMI monitors at up to 3840x2160 resolution at 60Hz. It is designed for laptops, tablets and phones that have a USB-C port with video output capability. The compact unit requires no external power supply and installs without additional drivers.

Included Cable and Audio

A 2 ft 4K HDMI cable is supplied in the box so one display can be connected immediately. The built-in 3.5 mm audio jack allows analogue sound output without using the HDMI audio channel. A 100 W USB-C Power Delivery port passes charging power through to the host device while the adapter is in use.

macOS and Mobile Limits

On macOS the adapter can only mirror the two external screens; it cannot extend them independently. Windows systems with Intel processors (excluding Celeron) support both extended and mirrored modes. Smartphones and tablets with video-capable USB-C ports are limited to mirror mode only.

Questions about this item

Will the included 2 ft HDMI cable need replacing for longer monitor runs?

The supplied cable is 2 ft; longer runs require a separate HDMI cable rated for 4K@60Hz.

What limits dual 4K@60Hz output during extended sessions?

The host USB-C port must supply enough bandwidth and power for two 3840x2160@60Hz streams; thermal throttling on the laptop can reduce sustained performance.

Does the adapter get hot or draw extra power when driving two displays all day?

It draws up to 100W through the PD pass-through port for laptop charging; the adapter itself runs warm but has no fan and no separate power brick.
