Thunderbolt 3 and 4 compatibility

The adapter works with Thunderbolt 3 or 4 ports that support video output. Windows devices need an Intel CPU (not Celeron) for dual extended displays. macOS devices only mirror the same image on both monitors. Smartphones and tablets with video-capable USB-C ports are limited to mirror mode.

100 W pass-through charging

A USB-C power-delivery port accepts up to 100 W to charge the host laptop while the adapter is in use. The 3.5 mm audio jack provides analogue sound output. No separate power supply is required for the adapter itself.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the single-cable version or the one with the 2 ft HDMI cable included?

The listing includes a 2 ft 4K HDMI cable, so you can connect one monitor immediately and add a second cable for the other HDMI port.

Will both external monitors really run at 4K 60 Hz at the same time?

Each HDMI output supports up to 3840x2160 at 60 Hz; Windows laptops with a video-capable USB-C port can extend two independent screens at that resolution.

Does the USB-C charging port deliver the full 100 W to my laptop while both displays are active?

The adapter’s USB-C port accepts up to 100 W power delivery, passing charge through to the host while driving dual 4K video and 3.5 mm audio.
