Converts VGA and 3.5 mm audio to HDMI at up to 1920x1080 60 Hz with USB power
This LUOM adapter turns an analogue VGA output into a digital HDMI signal while embedding stereo audio from the 3.5 mm jack. It draws power from a USB port so it works with laptops, desktops, media boxes and single-board computers that lack a strong VGA line driver. The unit weighs 40 g and requires no driver installation.
The converter accepts VGA inputs from 640x480 up to 1920x1080 at 60 Hz and scales them to a stable HDMI 1080p 60 Hz stream. It sustains a 6.75 Gbps aggregate bandwidth with 12-bit per channel deep colour and uncompressed two-channel LPCM audio. The built-in resolution switch selects 720p or 1080p output without interrupting the signal during long sessions.
Connect the VGA cable, the 3.5 mm audio lead and the USB power cable, then flip the output switch to the desired resolution; the image appears immediately. The only common issue is forgetting the USB power link, which causes no signal or a flickering picture on some source devices. No software or firmware steps are required.
