Purpose-built check scanner for retail POS

The MagTek 22551001 MICRSafe is a new single-feed check scanner designed for countertop point-of-sale use. It reads E13B and CMC7 MICR fonts in one pass and includes an integrated three-track SCRA magstripe reader for credit, debit and ID cards. The unit connects through HID USB and comes with the required USB cable and 12 VDC power supply.

Encryption at the point of swipe

The defining specification is on-device encryption via the MagneSafe Security Architecture, which protects card data the moment it is read and is designed to exceed PCI requirements. This makes the scanner suitable for environments that mandate end-to-end encryption for every transaction.

Single-feed throughput with a million-pass head
