Compact U-shape adapter for tight ports

The Poyiccot POY-000801 is a 180-degree USB Type-C extender that redirects the cable along the device edge. Its 6 mm profile fits most protective cases and suits smartphones, tablets and laptops where straight connectors would foul neighbouring ports or desk surfaces.

Sustained 40 Gbps throughput and 240 W delivery

Rated for USB 4.0 speeds up to 40 Gbps, the adapter maintains full bandwidth during long file transfers without thermal throttling. It also carries up to 240 W (48 V/5 A) Power Delivery continuously, so laptops charge at maximum rate even under heavy compute load.

Plug-and-play with a 6 mm case limit

Gold-plated contacts tested to 10,000 insertions give a secure, driver-free connection. The only installation constraint is case thickness: anything over 6 mm prevents the U-shape from seating fully, leaving a gap that can interrupt data or power.

Questions about this item

Does the 240 W power rating make the adapter warm during all-day charging?

The adapter handles up to 240 W (48 V / 5 A) Power Delivery without active cooling; its gold-plated contacts are rated for over 10 000 insertions and the compact 0.23 in thickness dissipates heat passively during continuous use.

What must my laptop or phone already have for this U-shaped connector to work?

Your device needs a USB-C port that supports USB 4.0 or Thunderbolt 3/4 with Power Delivery and video alternate mode; the adapter simply extends that existing port.

Will the 40 Gbps link still run at full speed if I keep using my older Thunderbolt 3 dock?

Yes — the adapter is backward compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and USB 3.x, so an older dock will operate at its native speed while the adapter itself remains capable of 40 Gbps.
