Manw 90 Degree Down Angled SATA 22Pin Male to Female Extension Adapter

SKU CH-VMFD-3HR55

A 90-degree down-angled SATA 22Pin male-to-female adapter that saves chassis space and fits 2.5 and 3.5 inch drives

  • 90-degree down angle frees tight chassis space
  • 22-pin male-to-female extends data and power in one adapter
  • plug-and-play needs no driver for instant drive recognition
  • compact build fits narrow 2.5 and 3.5 inch drive bays
  • works with all SATA HDDs, SSDs and optical drives

Space-Saving SATA Adapter

This 90-degree down angled SATA 22Pin male-to-female extension adapter redirects straight connectors vertically to clear tight chassis spaces. It suits builders assembling compact desktops or upgrading drives where a standard cable blocks adjacent components. The low-profile design keeps internal airflow paths open while maintaining a secure connection to 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA hard drives, SSDs and optical drives.

Integrated Power and Data

The adapter carries both the 7-pin data and 15-pin power lines through a single 22Pin right-angle connector, eliminating the need for separate angled cables. Plug-and-play operation requires no driver installation, so the drive is recognised immediately by the system BIOS. This all-in-one layout reduces cable clutter and simplifies routing in small-form-factor cases where every millimetre counts.

90-Degree Down Angle

The fixed downward orientation determines whether the connector clears a specific motherboard header or drive bay lip; verify the required direction before purchase. Builders needing an upward or side-facing angle, or those requiring a longer reach between devices, will need a different adapter style.

Questions about this item

Will the 22Pin SATA connector need replacement after repeated drive swaps?

The adapter uses a standard 22Pin male-to-female SATA interface rated for normal insertion cycles; no scheduled replacement is required under typical desktop use.

What limits continuous operation — the 90-degree angle or the cable length?

The 90-degree down angle is the fixed geometry; it does not change under sustained use, so the angle itself is the physical limit for cable routing.

Does the adapter add heat or noise when the 3.5 inch drive runs all day?

The passive adapter has no active components; it adds no heat or noise beyond the drive and existing system cooling.
