SlimSAS LP X8 74-pin to eight SATA 7-pin cable supports 24 Gbps SAS and 8 GT/s PCIe per channel
The Manw SlimSAS LP X8 cable connects a 74-pin SFF-8654 host or RAID controller to eight SATA 7-pin drives. Its compact connector and 85 cm length save space inside dense chassis. Each of the four channels supports 24 Gbps SAS and 8 GT/s PCIe signalling meeting SAS 3.0 and SFF-8654 specifications.
This cable fits administrators wiring eight SATA targets to a single SlimSAS port in compatible Dell servers. Builders needing a different length, a straight bracket or a non-Dell pinout should look elsewhere.

The cable splits one SlimSAS LP X8 port into eight SATA 7-pin connectors, so eight drives can be attached at once.
At 85 cm the cable reaches across most full-height enclosures while the low-profile connector keeps clearance tight.
