700MB 48X CD-R spindle for bulk archiving

This spindle holds 25 write-once discs rated at 700MB capacity and 48X maximum recording speed. Each disc stores up to 80 minutes of audio or 1.33 hours of data. The media suits home offices, small studios and anyone building a physical archive of documents, photos or music mixes.

Consistent writes across a full 25-disc batch

Rated for 2X to 48X writers, the discs maintain reliable burns when used sequentially in a desktop drive or a standalone duplicator. The organic dye layer is formulated for low error rates at high speeds, reducing coasters during long sessions. Performance stays steady whether you record one disc or the entire spindle in one sitting.

Spindle packaging simplifies handling and storage

The plastic spindle keeps all 25 discs organised, dust-free and easy to feed into a drive or autoloader. No jewel cases to crack or paper sleeves to misplace. The only common issue is surface scratches if discs are stacked loose after burning, so return each disc to its spindle slot immediately after use.

Questions about this item

Do these 700 MB CD-Rs generate noticeable heat or noise inside the writer during long 48X burns?

The discs are passive media; any heat or noise comes from the drive itself, not from the 25 spindles of model 648445.

What speed rating must my CD writer support to use these 48X CD-Rs?

The media are compatible with writers rated from 2X up to 48X, so any drive in that range will record onto them.

Can I add data to these CD-Rs later using the same drive that wrote them?

No, CD-R is write-once; once the 80 minutes or 700 MB are recorded the disc cannot be erased or rewritten.
