Tight-space power extension

The Maximm ADW-360-3101-B is a one-foot cord with a 360-degree rotating flat plug that lets you route power behind furniture or desks where a standard moulded plug would hit the wall. It carries a three-prong grounded connection rated for 13 amps at 125 volts and is UL certified for indoor use.

16 AWG current limit

At 16 AWG the cord handles up to 13 amps and 1625 watts, which is the practical ceiling for the NEMA 5-15P to 5-15R interface it uses. Thinner 18 or 20 AWG extensions cannot sustain that load safely over distance, so this gauge is the minimum for reliable continuous draw at the rated voltage.

Fixed one-foot reach

The single-foot length adds just enough slack to clear a wall-hugging obstacle without leaving coils of cable on the floor. It will not bridge larger gaps between an outlet and a distant device, so buyers who need more reach should choose a longer extension rather than daisy-chaining this unit.

Questions about this item

What makes the 1 ft length of the ADW-360-3101-B useful?

The short 1 ft cable extends a TV or PC power cord without excess slack, and its 360° rotating flat plug fits behind furniture or desks where standard plugs cannot reach.

What does the 13 A 125 V rating mean for daily use?

The cord handles up to 13 amps at 125 volts, delivering a maximum of 1625 watts, so it safely powers typical desktop PCs, monitors and home-theatre equipment.

How does the 16 AWG wire compare to thinner cords?

The 16 AWG conductors are heavier than 18 AWG or 20 AWG cables, making this extension safer and more reliable for the same 13 amp load.
