10 AWG 250 ft power cord

This 10 AWG power interconnect cord comes in a 250 ft spool with a matte pearl jacket. It is designed for vehicle power distribution and carries a one-year limited warranty from T-Spec under the v10 series.

Upgrade from thinner gauge wiring

Replacing smaller-gauge cable with this 10 AWG conductor reduces voltage drop over long runs in vehicle installations. The jump is worth it when the existing wiring cannot deliver the current demanded by amplifiers or other high-draw accessories.

Installers running long power feeds

Suited for installers who need a 250 ft length of 10 AWG oxygen-free copper for custom vehicle power routing. Not for buyers who require a pre-terminated computer mains lead or a shorter length for indoor PC builds.

Questions about this item

What gauge is the power wire and how long is the roll?

The roll contains 250 ft of 10 AWG oxygen-free copper power wire in a matte pearl finish.

What is the correct way to route this 10 AWG wire in a vehicle and which step is often missed?

Route the 250 ft length away from moving parts and heat sources, then secure it with grommets at every firewall pass-through — the step most installers skip.

How should the matte pearl jacket be inspected over time and when might the cord need replacement?

Check the jacket periodically for abrasion, cracking or discoloration; replace the wire if the insulation is damaged or the copper conductors are exposed.
