Three-foot black power extension cord with grounded NEMA 5-15P plug and matching receptacle

Micro Connectors

Micro Connectors 3 ft Power Extension Cord 16 AWG 13A NEMA 5-15P to 5-15R

SKU CH-HRVA-8VSGY

A 3 ft, 16 AWG power extension cord rated 13 A / 125 V with NEMA 5-15P to 5-15R connectors for reaching tight outlets

  • Turn bulky adapters into compact connections for tight spaces using NEMA 5-15P to 5-15R connectors
  • Extend AC device reach by 3 ft with 16 AWG SJT conductors rated for 13A at 125V
  • Support up to 1625 watt loads on grounded 5-15P and 5-15R ends for safe power delivery
  • Free crowded power strips from blocked outlets with fully molded heavy-duty cord construction
  • Meet UL, cUL and CSA safety standards plus RoHS and REACH compliance for regulated environments

Tight-Space Power Extension

This three-foot cord converts a standard NEMA 5-15P plug into a right-angle NEMA 5-15R receptacle so bulky adapters no longer block adjacent outlets. It is built for desktop users, office workers and anyone routing power behind furniture where clearance is limited. The fully moulded SJT 16 AWG construction meets UL, cUL and CSA requirements for safe indoor use.

13-Amp Continuous Rating

The single figure that decides fit is the 13-amp, 125-volt rating printed on the cord jacket. It supports loads up to 1625 watts, covering most computers, monitors, printers and small appliances. Devices drawing more than 13 amps must use a heavier-gauge cord or a dedicated circuit.

Three-Foot Reach And Limits

At three feet the extension clears a crowded power strip or wall outlet without leaving excess cable coiled on the floor. It handles a single high-draw device or several low-draw peripherals simultaneously. Runs longer than three feet or daisy-chained cords will exceed the intended voltage-drop budget and are not supported by this model.

Questions about this item

How much power can the 13 A rating actually deliver to my computer or monitor?

The cord is rated for 13 A at 125 V, which works out to 1 625 W — enough for typical desktop PCs, monitors and peripherals.

What does the NEMA 5-15P to 5-15R connection limit in everyday use?

It matches standard North American grounded outlets, so the only limit is the 13 A / 1 625 W rating of the cord itself.

Will the 3 ft length and moulded plugs fit behind a tight desk or power strip?

Yes, the short 3 ft SJT 16 AWG cable with fully moulded connectors is designed for tight spaces and won't block adjacent outlets.
