Connecting Portable Audio to Home Systems

This 3.5 mm stereo male to dual RCA male cable links the headphone output of phones, tablets or MP3 players to amplifier or receiver inputs. Heavy-duty coaxial construction with 22 AWG shielded conductors blocks EMI and RFI interference. The 12 mm by 6 mm cable diameter and 41 mm connector housings suit semi-permanent installations.

Signal Integrity and Build

Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion for consistent conductivity over time. Each conductor is individually shielded inside the coaxial layout to keep background noise out of the audio path. The robust jacket handles the weight of the 15 ft run without strain on the connectors.

Fixed-Length 15 ft Reach

The cable measures 15 ft end to end, so it only fits setups where source and amplifier sit within that distance. Buyers needing a shorter run for desktop use or a longer span for whole-room wiring should choose a different length.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 3.5mm male plug to my phone and the two RCA males to my amplifier?

Insert the 3.5mm stereo male into the headphone jack of your mobile device, then plug the red and white RCA males into the corresponding right and left audio inputs on your home amplifier or receiver.

Will the gold-plated connectors need cleaning or replacement over time?

Gold plating resists oxidation, so the connectors should not require cleaning or replacement under normal indoor use.

At what length does signal loss become noticeable on this 22AWG cable?

The cable is 1.5ft long, well within the distance where 22AWG shielded coaxial conductors maintain full stereo fidelity without audible loss.
