15 ft C13 to C14 power extension

This 15 ft black cable carries a female IEC 60320 C13 connector on one end and a male IEC 60320 C14 plug on the other. It lets you connect a monitor or device with a C14 inlet directly to a PC power supply C13 outlet. The 106450 model saves a wall socket while extending reach by 15.00 ft.

Suits monitors fed from a PSU C13 outlet

Builders who want to power a display from the computer’s own supply will find the correct IEC 60320 pairing here. Anyone needing a different IEC connector type, a longer run than 15 ft, or a cable that plugs into a standard wall socket should look elsewhere.

C13 female to C14 male IEC 60320 pairing

The single deciding specification is the connector combination: one end is a C13 female, the other a C14 male. Only equipment presenting the matching C14 inlet and C13 outlet can use this lead without adapters.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the C13 and C14 ends to extend power to my monitor?

Plug the male C14 end into the computer power supply C13 panel outlet, then plug the monitor C14 inlet into the female C13 end.

Does the 15 ft cord need any periodic inspection or replacement?

Check the black jacket and both IEC 60320 connectors for cracks or heat damage; replace if insulation degrades.

What is the first limit I hit when running this extension at full load continuously?

The 15.00 ft length adds resistance, so voltage drop at the monitor becomes the limiting factor under sustained draw.
