In-ceiling 3-way speaker pair

The Monoprice 107605 is a pair of 6.5-inch in-ceiling speakers built for whole-home audio and home-theatre installations. Their flush-mount design removes bulky cabinets from the room while delivering matched sound across multiple zones.

160 W power handling and concentric drivers

Each speaker handles up to 160 W and uses a DuPont Kevlar fiber cone for clean bass with low distortion. A pivoting titanium silk dome tweeter and concentric midrange provide detailed vocals and wide dispersion, suitable for 7.2.4 immersive layouts.

Paintable grille and standard cut-out fit

The removable grille can be painted to match any ceiling, preserving decor while the speakers handle main, surround or Atmos height duties. No logos keep the look minimal, and the matched Caliber series voicing ensures a uniform sound stage throughout the home.

Questions about this item

Can the 160W speakers work with an older amplifier that provides less power?

Yes, they will operate with lower-powered amplifiers at moderate volumes, though you will not reach their full output capability.

How can I verify the pivoting titanium silk dome tweeters are aimed correctly after installation?

Play dialogue-heavy content and adjust each tweeter until vocals sound centred at the main listening position.

Does the pair include mounting hardware and paintable grilles, or must I buy them separately?

The speakers ship with paintable grilles and integrated mounting clamps; no extra hardware is required for standard drywall ceilings.
