Right-Angle C13 Connector

This three-foot cord uses a 90-degree IEC-320-C13 plug that sits flush against the device so the cable runs parallel to the chassis instead of projecting outward. The right-angle design clears rear-panel obstacles and keeps rack or desk installations tidy without forcing a sharp bend in the wire.

Desktop, monitor and projector owners needing

The 3.00 ft length suits equipment positioned close to a wall socket or power strip, and the 16 AWG conductors handle up to 13 A at 125 V for typical office peripherals. Buyers who need a longer reach or a straight C13 plug should choose a different cable.

16 AWG conductors rated for 13 A at 125 V

The wire gauge and current rating are the decisive figures: they confirm the cord can safely power standard PC power supplies, monitors and similar 13 A loads. If your device draws more than 13 A you must select a heavier-gauge lead.

Questions about this item

Does the 16AWG cord stay cool when running a 13 A load all day?

The 16AWG conductors are rated for up to 13 A at 125 V, so continuous operation at that load stays within the cable’s thermal limits.

What wall outlet and device inlet must I already have to use this NEMA 5-15P to right-angle C13 cord?

You need a standard NEMA 5-15R wall receptacle and an IEC-320-C13 inlet on the equipment you are powering.

Will the 90-degree C13 plug clear the rear panel of an older ATX power supply that has the inlet recessed near the fan grille?

The right-angle C13 connector bends the cable 90 degrees at the device side, reducing the rear clearance needed compared with a straight plug.
