Network cable for home and office

This Cat5e patch cable connects computers, routers, switches and other RJ45 devices in a home or small-office network. The one-foot length keeps cable runs short and tidy on a desk or inside a cabinet. Pure bare copper conductors meet UL 444 and TIA-568-C requirements for permanent wiring.

Flat stranded design for tight routing

The flat profile and 24AWG stranded conductors let the cable bend around corners and slide under doors or carpet without kinking. Snagless strain-relief boots protect the RJ45 latch during repeated insertion and removal. Unshielded twisted pairs keep the cable light and flexible for temporary or semi-permanent installs.

350MHz bandwidth under continuous traffic

Rated at 350MHz, the link supports Gigabit Ethernet throughput during sustained file transfers, streaming or backup jobs. Gold-plated 50-micron contacts resist oxidation so signal integrity remains stable over long periods. Pure copper construction avoids the higher attenuation seen with copper-clad aluminium alternatives.

Questions about this item

What bandwidth limit appears first when this 1 ft Cat5e cable runs at full 350 MHz all day?

The cable is rated for 350 MHz bandwidth; sustained use at that frequency is its design limit.

How much heat or noise does this flat 24 AWG stranded copper cable produce during continuous operation?

Passive copper cables generate no noise and negligible heat under normal network loads.

Which devices must already have RJ45 ports for this 30 AWG patch cord to work?

Any two devices with standard RJ45 Ethernet ports — routers, switches, PCs, NAS units, etc.
