Cat6 patch cable with 550 MHz bandwidth, 24 AWG pure bare copper conductors and snagless flex boots for easier plug release
This Cat6 Ethernet patch cable measures 10 feet and uses unshielded twisted-pair construction with 24 AWG stranded pure bare copper conductors. The orange jacket and snagless Flexboot connectors make it easy to identify and release in dense patch panels. It is built for standard gigabit network drops in homes, offices or rack environments.
The cable is rated for 550 MHz bandwidth and tested to support 1 Gigabit transmission over its full length. Gold-plated contacts rated at 50 µm resist corrosion so signal integrity remains stable during continuous data transfers. Pure bare copper conductors meet UL 444 and TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety requirements for permanent installations.
This cable uses 100 % pure bare copper wire, not copper-clad aluminium, which is the single specification that determines compliance with building codes and long-term reliability. Buyers who need shielded cable, outdoor-rated jackets or fibre optic links will need a different product type.

The cable is completely passive; it carries only data signals and produces no measurable heat or power draw.
Each end terminates in an RJ45 plug with 50µm gold‑plated contacts, so both devices need standard Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports.
Yes, the Cat6 cable is backward compatible and will negotiate down to 10 or 100 Mb/s on legacy hardware.
