run cable for tight spaces

This 0.6096-metre Cat5e patch cord is built for short connections between a computer, console or access point and a wall jack or switch. The 24 AWG stranded pure bare copper conductors and 350 MHz bandwidth support gigabit speeds, while the snagless flexboot protects the RJ45 latch during frequent moves.

Replaces longer or lower-grade leads

Swap out coiled excess cable that blocks airflow or cheaper copper-clad aluminium cords that fail certification. The jump is worth it when you need a tidy run that meets UL 444 and TIA-568-C fire-safety requirements and carries a lifetime warranty.

Fits any standard gigabit port

The unshielded twisted-pair design plugs directly into RJ45 sockets on routers, PCs or patch panels without adapters. Gold-plated 50 µm contacts resist corrosion, and the short blue jacket frees up rack or desk space while keeping the link certified for structured-wiring installations.

Questions about this item

What RJ45 boot style does this 0.6096 m cable use for snagless connections?

The cable has colour-matched, snagless strain-relief boots that protect the latch from catching during insertion or removal.

How do you seat the 50 µm gold-plated RJ45 plugs without damaging the latch?

Push each plug straight into the port until the latch clicks; the snagless boot prevents the tab from bending if you pull at an angle.

When should the 24 AWG stranded copper conductors be replaced?

Replace the cable if the boots crack, the latch breaks, or intermittent link errors appear after repeated flexing.
