The cable is rated for 350 MHz bandwidth and uses 24 AWG stranded pure bare copper wire rather than copper-clad aluminium. Contacts are gold plated to 50 µm thickness. It meets UL 444 and TIA-568-C fire and safety requirements for communications cabling.

Snagless boots protect the latch
