Cat5e patch cable with 24 AWG stranded pure bare copper conductors and 350 MHz bandwidth
The Monoprice 113127 is a Category 5e unshielded twisted-pair patch cable built with 24AWG stranded pure bare copper conductors. It terminates in RJ45 plugs with 50µm gold-plated contacts and a Zeroboot design that removes the traditional protective sleeve over the retaining clip. The cable is rated for 350 MHz bandwidth and measures 2.1336 metres in length.
The Zeroboot profile helps the plug slide through tight cable management channels and dense patch panels without catching, making it suit installers who value speed and clean routing. Buyers who need a shielded cable for noisy electrical environments or a longer run than 2.1336 metres will need a different product.
This single figure defines the cable's maximum signalling headroom and determines whether it can support the intended network speed. If the application demands higher frequency performance, this Cat5e construction will not meet the requirement.

The Cat5e construction is rated for 350 MHz bandwidth, which supports full Gigabit Ethernet speeds without becoming the bottleneck during continuous use.
The 24 AWG pure bare copper conductors carry only low-voltage Ethernet signals, so they produce no perceptible heat even during 24/7 operation.
Both ends use standard RJ45 connectors, so you need a router, switch, PC, NAS or other network equipment with matching RJ45 jacks.
