A 25‑foot Cat5e UTP patch cable with 24 AWG stranded pure bare copper conductors, 350 MHz bandwidth and zeroboot RJ45 plugs for quick connections
This 25 ft black cable uses 24AWG stranded pure bare copper conductors in an unshielded twisted pair construction. It is rated for 350MHz bandwidth and terminated with RJ45 plugs featuring 50µm gold plated contacts. The Zeroboot design omits protective clip covers for faster connections in dense panels.
As a passive copper cable it generates no heat, produces no audible noise and draws no electrical power during operation. Signal integrity is maintained by the 350MHz bandwidth specification across the 7.62 m length. No active components or cooling are required.
The stranded conductors make the cable more pliable than solid-core alternatives, easing routing through cabinets and around corners. Removing the protective clip covers allows quick insertion and removal in high-density patch panels where adjacent ports limit finger access. The pure bare copper construction meets UL 444 and TIA-568-C.2 fire safety requirements.

Push each RJ45 connector straight into the port until it clicks; the Zeroboot design has no clip covers to remove, so the latch engages directly — just ensure the tab faces down on most jacks to avoid bending it.
No routine maintenance is required; inspect the RJ45 contacts for dust or bent pins occasionally, and replace the cable only if the jacket is kinked, the latch snaps off, or connectivity drops.
The 350MHz rating exceeds Cat5e's 100MHz spec, so the cable itself will not be the bottleneck; sustained gigabit throughput is limited by the connected switch or NIC, not by this cable.
