Monoprice 115698 6.5 Inch 2-Way Aramid Fiber Ceiling Speakers (Pair)

6.5-Inch In-Ceiling Pair

This pair of 6.5-inch two-way ceiling speakers is designed for home-theatre and distributed-audio installations. A DuPont Kevlar woofer with rubber surround handles low frequencies, while a silk titanium tweeter covers mids and highs. The set suits owners who want discreet, built-in sound without floor-standing cabinets.

Build Integration

The protective back cover shields the crossover and drivers from insulation and debris that settle inside ceiling voids. A removable magnetic grille with a slim bezel can be painted to match the ceiling, keeping the installation visually unobtrusive. No external enclosures or visible wiring runs are required once the units are mounted.

Thermal Noise Power

Passive operation means the speakers draw no mains power and generate no fan or transformer noise. Heat dissipation is handled naturally by the ceiling cavity, so there is no active cooling to fail or hum. The variable high-frequency attenuator lets you tame bright rooms without adding electronic circuitry.
