1000-foot Cat6A bulk cable with 23AWG solid bare copper, 650MHz bandwidth, FTP shielding and CMR riser rating for 10Gbps networks
This 1000 ft black Cat6a bulk cable uses 23 AWG solid pure bare copper conductors with an overall foil shield and a CMR-rated PVC jacket. It is built for 10GBase-T (10 Gbps) network environments and exceeds ANSI TIA/EIA 568-C.2 standards. The cable is UL listed and RoHS compliant for commercial installations.
The 650 MHz bandwidth provides comfortable headroom for 10 Gbps Ethernet up to the full 100 m channel length. Performance drops when runs exceed the standard distance or when connectors and patch panels are not rated for Cat6a. Shielding helps in noisy electrical environments but adds termination steps.
The foil-shielded FTP construction requires compatible shielded connectors and grounding to work as intended. The CMR riser rating allows vertical runs between floors but does not satisfy plenum requirements. Buyers needing plenum-rated cable or unshielded UTP simplicity should look elsewhere.
