Professional audio link

This 1.5 ft balanced cable connects a female XLR connector to a male 1/4 inch TRS plug, letting engineers route microphones, mixers or amplifiers without an adapter. The short run keeps the signal path tidy on stage or in a rack.

Shielding and conductor spec

Aluminium braid delivers 97.5 percent coverage while 16 AWG stranded pure bare copper conductors carry the audio, so the link stays clean over the 0.4572 metre length. Gold plated contacts resist oxidation for reliable mating cycles.

Stage Right build implications

The rigid quality control and lifetime warranty mean the assembly withstands repeated plugging in live or studio work. Two connectors only, so users needing a snake or multi channel loom must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will the 1.5ft XLR female to 1/4" TRS male cable reach between rack-mounted gear without strain?

At 1.5ft the cable is designed for short patch runs; the flexible 16AWG stranded copper and aluminium braid let it bend cleanly between adjacent rack units without pulling on connectors.

How can I confirm the 97.5% shielding is effective after I connect it?

With the cable plugged in, listen for a silent noise floor — no hum or RF buzz — when gain is raised on the connected mixer or interface; the gold-plated contacts and dense braid are built to deliver that result.

Does the box include any adapters or only the XLR female to 1/4" TRS male cable itself?

Only the single 1.5ft Stage Right cable with its two factory-fitted connectors is supplied; no extra adapters, ties or converters are included.
