A 25-foot, 18 AWG power cable with a NEMA 5-15P plug and IEC-320-C13 connector rated for 10 amps
The Monoprice 124197 is a 25 ft black power cable that connects a NEMA 5-15P wall plug to an IEC-320-C13 device inlet. It supplies mains power to desktop computers, monitors, printers or UPS units that use a standard C14 socket. The 18 AWG conductors are rated for 10 A at 125 V, delivering up to 1250 W.
The cord is a passive assembly with no active components, so it generates no audible noise and adds no measurable heat beyond normal conductor resistance. Power draw is determined entirely by the attached equipment up to the 10 A rating. The 3-conductor design includes a ground path for safe continuous operation.
No software, drivers or additional accessories are bundled with this cable. The only functional elements are the moulded 5-15P plug and the C13 connector, which mate directly with a C14 inlet. The lifetime warranty from Monoprice covers the cable itself but does not alter its electrical behaviour.

Route the cable with gentle curves, avoid tight bends at the plugs, seat the C13 fully into the C14 inlet and push the 5-15P firmly into the wall outlet until it clicks.
Inspect the black jacket and both connectors periodically; replace the cord if the insulation cracks, pins bend, or the plug fits loosely in the outlet.
The 18 AWG conductors reach their 10 A / 1250 W rating, so sustained loads near that level cause the cord to warm up before any other limit is hit.
