A 10 ft white Cat6A shielded patch cable built with 26 AWG pure bare copper conductors rated to 550 MHz for 10 Gbps links
This 10 ft Cat6A shielded twisted-pair cable uses 26 AWG pure bare copper conductors rated to 550 MHz. It meets UL Code 444 and TIA-568-C.2 requirements for permanent installations. The white jacket suits home or office routing where 10 Gbps Ethernet is needed over short distances.
The foil shield around each pair suppresses alien crosstalk that degrades 10 Gbps signals beyond short bursts. Pure bare copper keeps attenuation low enough to sustain full bandwidth across the full 10 ft length. Performance stays within Cat6A limits without the signal drop-off seen on unshielded or CCA alternatives.
Moulded boots protect the latch during pulls through conduit or cable trays. The 26 AWG stranded wire bends easily around corners but can kink if bent tighter than the jacket allows. Verify the shield drain wire contacts the metal shell on both ends for full STP grounding.

The cable is passive copper with no active electronics, so it produces no heat and draws no power of its own regardless of how long the 10G link runs.
You need devices with standard RJ45 ports — such as a router, switch, server or PC network card — that support Cat6A or higher cabling.
Yes, the cable is backward compatible; it will negotiate down to 1Gbps on the Cat5e panel and gigabit switch while still meeting its own 550MHz specification.
