Monoprice C19-to-C20 splitter cord

This Monoprice splitter connects two devices with IEC 60320 C20 inlets to a single C19 outlet on a PDU or UPS. It uses 12AWG conductors rated for 20A across 100-250V. The two-foot length suits dense rack or cabinet layouts.

Practical limits of the C19/C20 interface

The C19 outlet and C20 inlets share a 20A rating, so combined draw must stay within that limit. The cord does not increase available amperage from the source circuit. Buyers needing more than two branches or higher total current should plan additional PDU outlets.

Questions about this item

Should I choose a different splitter if I need to connect more than two devices?

This model 135117 provides exactly two C20 connectors from one C19 inlet; if you need more outlets you would need an additional splitter or a PDU with more ports.

What does the 20 A rating mean when I plug this into my rack PDU?

The cord is rated for 20 A at 100-250 V, so the combined draw of both connected devices must not exceed 20 A on the shared C19 supply.
