A slim Cat6a patch cable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet with snagless boots and pure copper conductors
Monoprice SlimRun Cat6a is a 1ft UTP patch cable built with 100% pure bare copper conductors. The snagless narrow boot eases insertion and removal in tight patch panels. It meets UL Code 444 and TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety requirements for communications wiring.
The cable diameter is almost half that of a standard 23AWG Cat6a, so it frees routing space and improves airflow in crowded server rooms and telecommunications closets. The jump is worth it when existing pathways are full and adding larger cables would require costly pathway expansion.
The Cat6a standard supports 10-Gigabit Ethernet over the full 100 metre channel, but this 1ft assembly covers only a fraction of that run. It is backwards compatible with Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet, yet cannot extend a 10G link beyond the standard’s maximum channel length.

The SlimRun Cat6a has a diameter of almost half a standard 23AWG Cat6a cable, making it significantly thinner for high-density routing.
The narrow boot and snagless design allow the connector to release easily and fit side-by-side in dense patch panels without catching on adjacent cables.
Yes, the 100% pure bare copper wire meets UL Code 444 and TIA-568-C.2 requirements for communications cable fire and safety standards.
