A shielded Cat6A patch cable with 500 MHz bandwidth and gold-plated RJ45 connectors for 10 Gbps networks
The Monoprice 145430 is a 14 foot Category 6A patch cable built with shielded twisted pair construction and 26AWG bare copper conductors. It is rated for 500MHz bandwidth and terminated with gold plated RJ45 connectors. The non-booted design reduces the connector footprint for tight spaces.
This cable fits high-density racks, server rooms and network cabinets where standard boots block adjacent ports. The 14 foot length serves typical rack-to-rack or switch-to-panel links. It is not intended for installers who need a protective boot for frequent unplugging or for runs that exceed the length supplied.
The 500MHz specification supports 10GBASE-T across the full 14 foot span with margin for alien crosstalk. Shielding and bare copper conductors preserve signal quality on short links. The cable runs out of reach for longer horizontal runs or permanent installations that require solid conductor cable and greater length.

Any router, switch, server or workstation with a standard RJ45 jack will accept the gold-plated connectors on this 14-foot shielded patch lead.
Yes, the Category 6A cable is backward compatible, so it will run at Cat5e speeds through your current panel while the foil shield still resists alien crosstalk.
Check the link speed on the switch or NIC; a negotiated 10 Gbps connection indicates the 500 MHz channel is operating correctly.
